But it does call into question the 1919 appointment. I need to re-read this because it seems confusing. Maybe when the WT article comes out it will be a little clearer what they are trying to say.
Wait, the overlapping generation makes even less sense so the theory that they really are making this up as they go along without worrying about how it fits into current theology is probably the answer.

That's it......
by whathehadas inthis might be my last post.
i've had quite a few things on my mind over the past few years, mainly my belief in god.
i've tried to move on from the jw past but that's really being foolish.

Obviously therapy would help. The key will be to release that anger. Believe me, I struggle with that as well. But resentment and pent up anger will only hurt you. The WTS could care less whether you live or die. Once you feel the same about them, life will be better.

Because The Governing Body Is In Denial They Can Not Comprehend The Suffering They Impose Upon Jehovah's Witnesses With Their No Blood And Disfellowshiping Policies
by frankiespeakin indenial works it horrors on the needless suffering they cause their members.
denial about their god delusion, denial about their faulty policies, denial about children dying in vain over some stupid ban on blood.
if it is one thing the governing body do best it's denial, and denial is a killer in their case and the death toll will keep rising until they can face the facts, instead of pushing them away with denial.. yes they hear but only with annoyance any facts about their biblical interpetation as being wrong and delusional, because the stakes are high; their position as corporation ceos, a better future for their followers, the future of the corporation they are running, i'm surprised that none of them hasn't attempted suicide over the dilemma they are in over this denial thing, surely some must see the 'writing on the wall' so to speak?.

Just a point of clarification about what was said at this year's RC/DC/IC/whatever the hell they want to call it! I was specifically listening for that part and what was said was that you should deal discreetly with unbelieving relatives and the speaker added NOT disfellowshipped. And by discreetly he meant to try not to act too much like you're in a cult but seem reasonable. Then they had a skit where a JW son who lived with his mother handled a request that would have involved him missing a meeting both the "right" way (arrange for another time to take his mom where she needed to go) or the "wrong" way (launching into a cult like speech about not forsaking the gathering together which of course promoted an argument).
They in no way (at least at the Landover cultfest) say that you could associated with DF/DA relatives. Several times they mentioned things along the lines of what the newest WT said.

E-Watchman? Thoughts?
by thedepressedsoul ini stumbled upon the website e-watchman today and while i didn't have time to read over everything i found this thoughts so far quite interesting.
recently when reading matthew i can't help but feel that jesus warnings about the pharisees also applied to the gb and elders.
actually everytime jesus brought them up i realized how similar they are.

More JW bragging about the Landover, MD. convention. Please have barf bag at the ready before reading
by AndDontCallMeShirley inthe following e-mail is circulating among jws about the international convention at fedex stadium in landover, md.
note the all-too-familiar jw claims: everything they do (including the simple act of parking cars) is proof of jehovah'stm blessing, and everything wt did at the convention was the fastest, greatest, best ever.
oh, and the never-fails-to-get-mentioned alleged 'persecution'/resistance from some unnamed authority who tried to get in watchtower's way and hamper the effort...but jws prevailed anyway (as always):.

Doubting brother how is it that you find time after a redskin game to tailgate i thought redskin fans would be looking for the nearest watering hole or a gun to put themselves out of misery
Ha - after their lousy performance I need to have a few beers in the parking lot to forget (as long as I'm not driving). This year will be different (LOL)
